10 Things U Must Know About “It’s SHOWtime”
1. Registration is Required to Perform. Only Registration is $20 (if U want $200 Prize) or $40 (for $400 Prize).
2. REGISTERING: To secure a spot in Advance, Artists can register via www.paypal.com by sending their $20/$40 payment to IamMsDia@yahoo.com. In the “NOTES” Section, Artists are to leave their STAGE NAME, CONTACT NUMBER & EMAIL. Artists will receive a confirmation call within 48 hours of their payment being received.
- Artists can register in Person every Saturday btwn 2-7pm @ Cumberland Mall inside The Initiators Store or at Any of Our Other Events.
- If there is space left on the list to perform, New Artists may still enter the Cash Prize competition the night of the show. Though we do not recommend you wait until then to Sign up.
- Registered Artists are asked to report to the venue at 9:00 pm for final registration, priority sign-up and show/contest briefing.
3. Registered Artists who will be on stage as musicians, singers or rappers can enter the venue for $5, but only before 10pm. After 10pm, ANY person desiring to enter the venue will be required to pay the ticket price of $10.00. Absolutely no exceptions. (We must abide by the Rules of the Venue)
4. Once you've Registered, Artists will recieve an individul Flyer for their promotional Use. (Promo Pics should be emailed to IamMsDia@yahoo.com)
5. The Winner of the “NOT So Amateur” Open Mic will receive both 1st Place Prizes ($200/$400 Cash + a Featured Set at Next Month’s SHOWtime).
6. Artists are allowed a total(Not to exceed) 3 1/2 minutes on stage for their performances. Artists can perform Original or Cover tracks. Artists are allowed to perform to a track or play musical instruments.
7. The winner will be selected by an applause meter based on the Audience's response. Artists will be disqualified if their Guests/Fans are disorderly and or destructive in any way during the beginning, middle or end of the event.
8. The winner will receive privately at the end of the night a cash prize of $200 or $400.
